At 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Alphonzo Tuputala had a brief conversation with head coach Kalen DeBoer after the Huskies’ practice ended. DeBoer and UW’s sports information staff made it clear to Tuputala that he was not required to meet the waiting media. He did so anyway. Three days earlier, UW’s junior linebacker publicly swung from ecstasy to embarrassment — dropping the football one yard shy of a 77-yard pick six.
