The date for Newark Christmas market and the lights-switch-on have been revealed. The festive season will officially start on Sunday, November 26 with the lights switch-on event in Newark Market Place. The event, delivered by Newark Town Council, offers a Christmas market, fairground rides and a large professional stage with plenty of musical entertainment including school choirs.
