A community radio station which broadcasts across the Vale of Belvoir has won a King’s Award. Community radio station 103 The Eye, which broadcasts across an area including Bottesford, Bingham and Sedgebrook, has gained the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK – equivalent to an MBE – and it comes just a few days after the station celebrated its 18th birthday.
