By (Adrian Peel) As a fan of the classic 1951 Ealing Comedy starring Alec Guinness and Stanley Holloway, I was intrigued to see how this new take on what the British Film Institute (BFI) hails as one of the “greatest British films of all time” – written by Phil Porter and directed by Jeremy Sams – would translate to the stage.
