N.J. school abused child with Down syndrome, other disabilities, lawsuit says

The parents of an elementary school student with disabilities have sued a school district in Monmouth County, alleging the child was walked down a hallway naked in front of other students, forced to sit alone during lunch and recess, and video recorded while using the bathroom. The child attended Ocean Township Elementary School beginning in 2018, and was assigned to a class for students with learning disabilities, according to a lawsuit filed Sept. 9 in Superior Court of Monmouth County.
