Sahel, 27, from Afghanistan, has tried to reach England by boat twice already, but Dover remains an elusive 40 kilometres away for now. This morning would have been his third attempt, had French police not discovered Sahel and his group of fellow migrants on the beach and confiscated their dinghy.
