Nonprofit awards show to honor Newark community ‘legends’ and the youth they inspire

A new awards show is coming to Newark, an entertainment hub that’s home to the Grammy Museum, venues like the Prudential Center, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Symphony Hall, and the birthplace of Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah and other stars.
