A derby did not disappoint despite being held in sweltering conditions. Newark Town defeated West Bridgford 4-1 at the YMCA in front of a crowd of 130 people. Luke Andersen celebrated his 50th appearance for the club as the side took to the field in their United Counties League Divison One fixture. It was an unchanged side from the one that was victorious in The Blue’s previous match where they defeated the step five team, Hucknall Town 7-2.
