Lord Lieutenant of Kent visits Gravesham to plant tree in memory of Queen

By itree@thekmgroup.co.uk (Isabel Tree) The Lord Lieutenant of Kent, Lady Colgrain, planted a tree in memory of Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to Gravesham. The tree was planted in Woodlands Park, Gravesend, as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy. The initiative was originally launched to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee but was extended in memory of the Queen. It is one of 24 trees planted in the borough as part of the scheme. Lady Colgrain also presented Gravesend’s Gurdwara with one of the 350 trees from the Tree of Trees sculpture at Buckingham Palace, a centrepiece of the Platinum Jubilee…
