By Seamus Duff Only Fools and Horses star Sue Holderness says she is delighted to still be recognised for her role as Marlene Boyce years after she last played the role. The 74-year-old actress played the long-suffering wife of Herman Aubrey ‘Boycie’ Boyce – who was played by late actor John Challis, who died aged 79 in 2021. Sue’s role as Marlene began on Only Fools and Horses which ran on the BBC from 1981 until 2003, and she reprised her role on spin-off show The Green Green Grass which ran from 2005 until 2009.
