A firm’s decision to withdraw an application for a controversial 24-hour licence has been labelled ‘an absolute winner of a result’. People power has also been praised, after vocal residents made their thoughts on Merkur Slots’ plan to extend its opening hours in Spalding town centre well and truly known.
